Choir and Chapel
Choristers
Since 1352, we have provided the boy choristers who form the treble line in the choir of St George’s Chapel. This musical tradition is as vibrant and important today as it ever was. »
Garter Day
The Garter Day Service at St George's Chapel is undoubtedly a highlight in the choral year which the Choristers very much look forward to.»
Auditions
There are twenty three choristerships in St George’s Chapel which are awarded, as vacancies occur, to boys who will be between the ages of 7½ and 9½ at the time of their Voice Audition, on the understanding that they will not leave St George’s without the agreement of the Chapter until the end of the term when they become 13½. »
Outreach Programme
In 2009 we initiated an Outreach programme with local primary schools as a response to the Singup organisation launched nationwide. We have chosen to follow our own route, mindful of the considerable demands already made on the choristers in singing the daily services in the Chapel »
