ICT

All the children from Years 1-8 have an ICT lesson every week in the ICT suite. These lessons equip the children to use ICT as a cross-curricular tool as well as teaching all the relevant ICT skills to enable them to do ICT GCSE at their senior schools.

In addition to the ICT syllabus we also teach the children film making and editing, how to use the SMART board software and touch typing, with the goal that each child will leave the school being able to touch type at between 20-40 words a minute.

There is also an opportunity for those who wish to extend their ICT skills to come to ICT Activity held once a week after school.
