Extra-Curricular

The Creative, Performing and Physical Education Departments do much to provide additional learning experiences for pupils, encouraging them to explore new skills and talents. 

Activities in music, dance and drama take place both during and after the school day, alongside art, astronomy, chess, judo, ICT and gymnastics, to name but a few.

Outside the classroom, children are free to explore and to develop new areas of creativity and expression, at a pace appropriate to their talent and interest. In many ways it would be preferable to rename the provision as 'Extension Curriculum', where the aim is to provide yet further challenges to the enquiring and lively mind, and to facilitate greater opportunities for self-expression.
