Ensembles

The School has several instrumental groups who meet at lunch times and are coached by specialist instrumental staff in the Department. This arrangement enables us to offer suitably challenging material to specific instrumental combinations and those who are more advanced, are now able to pursue repertoire in its original composition format.

In January each year, a large number of pupils have always been encouraged to audition for the IAPS Orchestral Courses which were run during the Easter and Summer Holidays each year. These courses were replaced by the Stonebridge Courses which were run in 2009.
