Rowing champion visits

Olympic Rowing Champion Kate Johnson visits St George's.

On Friday 13th January, the 2004 Olympic silver medallist Kate Johnson came to St George’s to give the senior pupils an assembly on rowing.

Kate gave an inspirational talk referring to her own Olympic experiences and conquering your aspirations through sport.

The year 8’s were then treated to a master class on the indoor rowers and worked on some key technical points to help them improve.
