Ski Trip 2012

The start of a New Year brought the start of a new school ski trip.

On the 1st of January 62 pupils began to pack their bags in excited anticipation of the trip to Switzerland. The group departed for Saas Fee on Monday morning and after a long day travelling the pupils laid eyes on the hotel that was to be their home for the next six days.

The morning brought the first glimpse of fresh powder snow and white mountain tops, a great remedy for tired eyes. Every day to follow saw new snow and new challenges for all skiers.

The trip was summed up by one pupil on their return school (parents in waiting, finger nails still just intact).

“Sir that was the best week of my life I will never forget it.”
