"I must have looked at eight schools in three days or something insane but I remember walking into St George's and I remember thinking - everyone is having entirely too much fun here - this is where my kids have got to go. I think one of my favourite memories is from our second year here. Everyone is out in the hallways. It must have been just at the end of the class and some boy comes barging out of the dormitories and he’s swinging his arms, marching down the hall, singing at the top of his lungs. Now this isn’t a rock 'n' roll song and I have no idea what he was singing but he was in seriously full voice. He marched down the main staircase, right through the middle of the school, with eight zillion kids around and no one batted an eye, no one turned around and I thought - what other school could you do that and not be completely ostracised?
